    The island of Islay is situated off the west coast of Scotland and is one of Scotland's hidden jewels,affectionately known as "Queen of the Hebrides".

    The island is steeped in history and enjoys a rich cultural heritage which it celebrates in the form of FeisIle,the annual festival of malt and music,a summer Jazz Festival and the Cantalena Festival of chamber music and art.
    A paradise for ornothologists and lovers of wildlife as featured on Simon Kings' Springwatch programme. A choice of 22 beaches to explore!!!
