  • Description
Lovely 3 / 4 bedroom 2/3 reception house set in the beautiful Wolds Countryside. The house was completely renovated 3-4 years ago to a very high standard.

Greetham is in an area of "Outstanding Natural Beauty" It is the 3rd highest point in Lincolnshire. Greetham is very peaceful and picturesque with a population of approx.40
The market town of Horncastle where there are restaurants, antique shops, shops and pubs are just 5 minutes away.

There are fantastic panoramic views of open countryside from all of the bedrooms and lounge. To the rear there is a 10 acre grass paddock (not ours). 170 yards into the distance is a magnificent c 1828 Victorian Manor House.

The Old School in Greetham was built as a school in 1828 by the "Dennis family" daughters - as a memorial to their father. Children attended this school from all of the local villages. There was at one point up to 50 children in attendance.

In 1972 the school was converted from this Victorian school by the local landowner as accommodation for his farm manager.

The extra floor was added at this point as was the house elongated to encapsulate a garage and an extra upstairs bedroom.

We purchased the house in December 02 and totally renovated the whole house. Plus Removing the concrete playground. and creating pretty cottage style garden. Adding a car port and converting the garage into another reception room/bedroom.
